SWEC's revised and expanded hiking guide features 45 trips in the Paso del Norte region

Written by Greg Magee and published by the Southwest Environmental Center, the newly released second edition of Day Hikes and Nature Walks in the Las Cruces—El Paso Area describes 45 day trips into the mountains, canyons, and desert of the region, as well as general information about regional natural and cultural history.  Many of the hikes described in the book are located within the new Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument.
