The Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument was established on May 21, 2014, to protect four areas: the Organ Mountains, Desert Peaks, Potrillo Mountains, & Doña Ana Mountains.
Popular for hiking, photography, mountain biking, camping, & wildlife viewing, the Organ Mountains rise above the Chihuahuan Desert to an elevation of over 9,000 feet.
The Organ Mountains inspired us to build a community that gives back. With over 175,000 meals donated and over $100,000 donated back to New Mexico organizations & non-profits, we continue to aspire to reach for the skies like the jagged peaks that look over our valley.
